Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven & Prepare the Pan: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Cake Batter: In a large bowl, cream together softened butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the apple butter, eggs, and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually combine the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just mixed—don’t overmix.
  6. Prepare the Crumb Topping: In a medium bowl, mix flour, brown sugar, oats, cinnamon, and melted butter.
  7. Stir until crumbly with some larger clusters for texture.
