Ingredients you’ll need:

Instructions:

1. To start, I preheat my oven to 425°F (220°C). This is an important step, as the high temperature will help achieve that gooey center we all crave.

2. Next, I take two small ramekins (about 6 oz each) and butter them thoroughly. Then, I dust the insides with cocoa powder, ensuring that the lava cakes won’t stick once they are baked.

3. In a microwave-safe bowl, I combine the chopped semisweet chocolate and unsalted butter. I microwave the mixture in short bursts of about 20 seconds, stirring every time until it’s completely melted and smooth.
